The movie is a story that stars Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani along with showcasing three generations of Parsees. The movie exceptionally depicts the lifestyle of an ordinary Parsee family. In addition to this fact, it also breaks many hypocritical and stereotypical ideologies and notions about the community.
Boman Irani is himself a parsi.
The fact that Sharman is himself donning outfits other than the stereotypical and a ‘white band-galla’ sort of coat is one of the finest specimens of Parsee being stereotyped all the time.
